ROCKETS RALLY PAST INDIANS

Robby Huffman had seven of his team-high 18 points in a third-quarter rally that boosted Craig County past Covington Boys' Home 69-67 in a non-district boys' basketball game on Monday.

The Indians led 35-30 at halftime but were outscored 18-11 in the third quarter. Jeff Ford added 17 points for the Rockets.

Donnie Costigan led the Indians with 27 points. George Wood added 20 and Chris Hicks 12. \

BLACKSBURG - Jay Safford's 26 points led the Indians to the non-district win.

Ben Araman added 11 points for the Indians (2-8). Tazewell (6-2) was paced by Jason Strong's 12 points. \
