OBIT GOAD, CLIFFORD WAYNE

GOAD, Clifford Wayne, 45, of Roanoke, formerly of Floyd, passed away Monday in a Roanoke hospital. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Goad, Roanoke; one son, Gary Wayne Goad, Roanoke; one stepdaughter, Michelle Marie Trent, Roanoke; two sisters, Treva G. King, Salem, Bonnie Bush, Roanoke; one brother, Archie Goad, Boones Mill. Graveside services will be Thursday, January 14, at 11 a.m. at Laurel Branch Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry L. Cloninger Jr. officiating. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, where the family will be from 6 to 8 this evening.
