OBIT GRADE, SAXTON KEYS

GRADE, Saxton Keys, 59, of Wake Forest, died Monday, January 11, 1993, at her daughter's home in Riner. Mrs. Grade was born in Montgomery County, May 30, 1933, to the late Joe and Easter Sherman McDaniels. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Fay Farrow. Surviving are her husband, Johnnie Grade; two daughters, Corelise Jones Stith, New River, Eugenia Lynn Austin, Riner; four sons, Alfred Mills Sr., Christiansburg, James Miller Farrow Jr., Roanoke, Jerry Lewis Farrow, Wake Forest, Dwight Quency Farrow, Idaho; one stepdaughter, Alicia Kathleen Geoghan, New York; one sister, Ida Mae Jones, Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, James Keys, Blacksburg, Joe McDaniels Jr., Columbus, Ohio; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 15, at Wake Forest Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Rev. William Beamers will officiate. Interment will follow in Wake Forest Cemetery, McCoy. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
