OBIT SHOWALTER, SARAH JANE
SHOWALTER, Sarah Jane, 86, of Dublin, died Monday, January 11, 1993, in a Radford hospital. She was the widow of W. A. (Medy) Showalter. Surviving are her daughter, Lois Duncan of Cibolo, Texas; four sons, Robert L. Showalter of Chesterfield, Richard R. Showalter, Sr. of Riner, Ted R. Showalter of Petersburg, John A. Showalter of Dublin; four sisters, Sophia Beveridge and Frances Foster, both of Rittman, Ohio, Mae Goins of Colonial Heights, Eve Cline of Beckley, W.Va.; two brothers, L. D. Riffe of Hardy, Lawrence Riffe of Panther, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pulaski County Lifesaving Crew. Funeral services and interment will be private. DeVilbiss Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
