OBIT REID, LILLIE VIRGINIA MILLER
REID, Lillie Virginia Miller, 79 of Lexington, died Sunday, January 10, 1993, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Mrs. Reid was born January 21, 1913, in Rockbridge County. She was the daughter of the late Lacy McClung Miller and Mattie Ayers Miller. She was a member of the Lauderdale A.R.P. Church, and was the widow of Harry M. Reid. Surviving are three sisters, Katherine M. Davis of Lexington, Emma M. Collins of Keswick, Bessie M. Dunbar of Eagle Rock; and three special nieces, Gail M. Clark of Buena Vista, Gladys C. Sanner of Earlysville, Lucy C. Cash of Charlottesville; also other nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 1993, at the Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Zeb Carson Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Broad Creek A.R.P. Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Lauderdale A.R.P Church or to the Broad Creek Cemetery.
