SHOCKLEY, Carl Jackson, 69, of Hillsville passed away Tuesday, January 12, 1992 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. He was born January 8, 1924 in Carroll Co., a son of the late Van Buren and Nannie Cochran Shockley. He is survived by his wife Janette Andrews Shockley; sons and daughters-in-law, Carl Jackson, Jr. and Fern D. Shockley, Max Meadows, Jim and Carolyn E. Shockley, Blacksburg, Jerry Shockley, Woodlawn; five grandchildren, Steve Shockley, Jan Shockley, Greg Shockley, Kevin Shockley, Brad Shockley. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 1993 at the Dalton Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Charley Mackey officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville.
