OBIT CLAYTOR, JOHN B. III
CLAYTOR, John B. III, 44, of Roanoke, died Monday, January 11, 1993. He
retired from Roanoke Memorial Hospital Emergency Department in 1992. He is
survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. John B. Claytor Jr., and a sister,
Sandra Claytor, all of Roanoke; a niece, Monica Cabbler, University of
Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. French Nickens of Washington,
D.C., Mr. Leonard Williams of Roanoke, Dr. and Mrs. Lewis Boddie of Los
Angeles, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. John Palmer of Martinsburg, W.Va., Mr. Ralph
Claytor of Roanoke, Dr. and Mrs. Walter Claytor of Roanoke, Atty. and Mrs.
Henry Marsh of Saginaw, Mich., Drs. David and Margaret Woodbury, Ann Arbor,
Mich.; and numerous cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1
p.m. Saturday at the St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles
Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Williams Memorial Park. The
family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hamlar-Curtis
Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Roanoke Chapter
of the American Cancer Society or to St. Paul United Methodist Church, in
memory of John B. Claytor III. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
