OBIT HETHERINGTON, RUBY C.
HETHERINGTON, Ruby C., 75, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, January 12, 1993. She was a nurse. Mrs. Hetherington was preceded in death by her husband, George Russell Hetherington, and a son, Donald E. Hetherington. Surviving are her son, George M. Hetherington, Roanoke; three grandchildren, George S. Hetherington, Scott P. Hetherington and Steve P. Hetherington, all of Roanoke; a sister and brother-in-law, Mattie and Woodrow Lumsden, Roanoke; two brothers and sister-in-law, O.P. (Pete) Campbell, Robert L. and Thelma Campbell, all of Roanoke; a devoted sister-in-law, Betty Keller, Bassett. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel, 10 a.m. Friday, January 15, 1993, with the Rev. Fred Devan officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
