OBIT MILLIRONS, SHULAR MUNCY
MILLIRONS, Shular Muncy, 93, of Narrows, died Tuesday, January 12, 1993 in
the Kegley Manor, Bastian, Va. He was a lifelong resident of Giles County. He
was born on April 28, 1899 and was the son of the late John Harvey and Etta
Schrildia Shrader Millirons. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin
and Epson Millirons; five sisters, Lelia Carr, Helen Hollins, Elgie Millirons,
Ilee Millirons and Kenzie Millirons. He was a graduate of Pearisburg High
School, Class of 1927 and was a member of the Hales Chapel United Methodist
Church, Route 2, Narrows. He is survived by his wife, Nina Shrader Millirons;
three sons, John W. Millirons of Pittsview, Ala., Shular A. Millirons of
Laurel, Md., Gerald K. Millirons of Pearisburg, Va.; three daughters, Carrie
M. Pauley of Bland, Va., Shelby M. Copeland of Roanoke, Va., Emily M. Lambert
of Narrows, Va.; one brother, Kester Millirons of Narrows, Va.; 20
grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at
1 p.m. at the Hales Chapel United Methodist Church, Route 2, Narrows, with
Rev. Doug Hyndrich and Rev. James L. Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow
in the Millirons Cemetery, Route 2, Narrows. The family will meet their
friends at Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows, Thursday evening from 6 to 8.
