OBIT PALMER, FANNIE MAE KEGLEY
PALMER, Fannie Mae Kegley, of Wytheville, died Tuesday in the Wythe County
Community Hospital. She was born in Wythe County, the daughter of the late
Emmett Harlow and Nancy Emily Catron Kegley. She was a retired professional
beautician and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Harry E. Palmer. She is survived by a daughter and
son-in-law, Rose and Richard V. Mason, Vinton; a son and daughter-in-law,
Thomas H. and Beverly Palmer, Roanoke; four sisters, Mrs. Trannie Layne, Mrs.
Margaret Rash, both of Wytheville, Mrs. Osa Price, Ivanhoe, Mrs. Ardelia
Palmer, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the
Barnett Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The
family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville, Va. is in charge of the
arrangements.
