OBIT-FARMER, CLIFTON LEROY

FARMER, Clifton Leroy, 77, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, January 12, 1993, in the VA Medical Center, Salem. Survivors include his beloved and devoted wife, Mrs. Mable Farmer; two aunts, Mrs. Fannie Washington, Mineral, Va., Mrs. Julia Meriweather, Washington, D.C.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Catherine Thomas, Rosedale, N.Y.; many relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Morningstar Baptist Church. Dr. L. A. Lewis will officiate with interment in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church for viewing and visitation one half hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
