OBIT-MITCHELL, EDNA TRENT

MITCHELL, Edna Trent, 96, of Salem, died Tuesday, January 12, 1993. She is survived by two sons, Ray Crosswhite, Salem; Woodrow Crosswhite, Mount Clemens, Mich.; stepson, Dewey L. Mitchell, Roanoke; stepdaughter, Mary Sue Underwood, Roanoke; sister, Violet Lane, Portsmouth; brother, Melvin Trent, Melrose, Fla.; also six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with Rev. R. Stuart Carlton officiating. Interment will follow in Fair View Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.
