OBIT-PALMER, FANNIE MAE CAROLINE KEGLEY

PALMER, Fannie Mae Caroline Kegley, of Wytheville, Va. died Tuesday, January 12, 1993 in the Wythe County Community Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 14, 1993 at 2 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Charles Burnett officiating. Interment was in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. She was born in Wythe County, Va., the daughter of the late Emmett Harlow and Nancy Emily Catron Kegley. She was a retied licensed professional beautician and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Palmer. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Richard V. Mason, Vinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas H. and Beverly Palmer, Roanoke; five grandsons, Thomas H. Palmer, Jr., Everett W. Palmer, John E. Palmer, all of Roanoke, Richard V. Mason, Jr., Carey E. Mason, both of Vinton; four sisters, Mrs. Trannie Layne, Mrs. Margaret Rash, both of Wytheville, Mrs. Osa Price, Ivanhoe, Mrs. Ardelia Palmer, Pulaski. Barnett Funeral in Wytheville, Va. was in charge of the arrangements.
