HEALTH SCREENINGS OFFERED AT E&H FAIR

Emory & Henry College will offer a range of health screenings at its annual Wellness Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Van Dyke Student Union.

It will include a booth from Smyth County Community Hospital offering screening tests for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and pulmonary function.

Physical education students from the college will provide information and give demonstrations on various physical activity programs. Healthy fruit drinks, snacks and recipes will be available.

Other information will be available on nutrition, measures to reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease, AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.
