BUS WINDOW BROKEN BY BOTTLE; GIRL HURT

A 12-year-old girl suffered cuts on her face and glass in her eye Friday after a bottle thrown at the school bus she was riding broke a window, police said.

Four juveniles were taken into custody for questioning about the bottle-throwing incident, said Larry Hill, a Police Department spokesman. Hill said the girl was injured about 3 p.m. as the bus was taking students home from Blair Middle School. - Associated Press
