OBIT LINKOUS, REV. PHYLLIS ANN GILLENWATER

LINKOUS, Rev. Phyllis Ann Gillenwater, 59, of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, January 14, 1993. She was a former minister and member of Cornersview Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Irene Gillenwater. Survivors include her husband, Donald M. Linkous of Christiansburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Nancy Linkous of Bluewell, W.Va., Tim Linkous of Christiansburg, Ron and Dana Linkous of Elliston; two daughters, Rebecca Linkous and Ms. Pat Layne, both of Blacksburg; father and stepmother, James and Ruth Gillenwater of Lake Shawnee, W.Va.; two brothers, Don Gillenwater of Garrads Fort, Pa., Jim Gillenwater of Bluefield; two sisters, Rita Bowling of Hickory, N.C., Wanda Lovel of Hudson, Fla.; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Radford with Rev. Ron Burke, Rev. Frankie Graham and Pastor Edward Wood. Interment will follow in the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
