OBIT CABANISS, ETTA L.

CABANISS, ETTA L., 89, of Roanoke, died Friday, January 15, 1993. She was a member of Waverly Place Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jack Cabaniss; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce Carter and husband, David, Montvale; two sons and daughters-in-law, Homer G. Cabaniss and wife, Norma, Roanoke, Marvin E. Cabaniss and wife, Dorothy, Winston-Salem, N.C.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, January 18 at Fair View Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Hoffler officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
