GEOLOGY TALK MONDAY AT TECH
Steven E. Boyer, research assistant professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle, will give a talk to the Department of Geological Sciences at Virginia Tech on Monday.Boyer, who also is a distinguished lecturer sponsored by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, will speak at 4 p.m. in 2044 Derring Hall.
His talk will be on "Sequence of Deformation and Structural Variation Within Thrust Belts: Implications for Mechanical Models and Hydrocarbon Exploration."
