HOWARD-GILLESPIE

Trina Ann Gillespie and Wesley Dean Howard were united in marriage onDecember 12, 1992 in Salem Baptist Church. Rev. Ken Kingrea was theofficiating clergyman. The reception was held at Salem Baptist.

The bride was given away by heruncle, Ronnie Kelly. Melissa Cunningham, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Carmen Gillespie, sister of the bride; Tammy Heptinstall, sister of the groom; Lisa Hurt and Missy Sumner, cousins of the groom; Donna Geary and Kristie Martin, friends of the bride. Ashley Heptinstall, niece of the groom, was the flowergirl. Leroy Doss, friend of the groom, served as best man. The ushers were Michael Settle andSteven Waller, cousins of the groom; Steve Hite, Basil Martin, Mark Burrell and Mike Shepheard, friends of the groom. Rodney Heptinstall, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer. Wanda Disher, friend of the bride, was the guestbook attendant.

The bride is a daughter of Ms. Scarlett Gillespie of Salem and the late Patrick A. Gillespie. She is a graduate of Salem High School and is employed at the home office of Advance Stores Co. The groom is the son of Ms. Judy Spangler of Roanoke and Virgil Howard of Greenwood, S.C. He is a graduate of William Byrd High School and is employed by Blue Ridge Beverage.

The newlyweds will reside in Roanoke.
