OBIT HALL, BERNICE DEEDS
HALL, Bernice Deeds, of Roanoke, died Friday, January 15, 1993, in a local hospital. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of the American Viscose Corporation, and was retired from the physical therapy department of Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. Surviving are five sisters, Hortense D. Gibson of Buchanan, Loree D. Eanes of Chesapeake, Grace D. Weihl of Gilbert, Ariz., Wanetta D. Starkey of Catawba, and Stella D. Hensley of Roanoke; one brother, E. Dale Deeds, Christiansburg; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 3 p.m. Monday, January 18, with the Rev. Robert M. Chapman and the Rev. Dr. William L. Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
