OBIT BOOZE, CLAIBORNE SAUNDERS
BOOZE, Claiborne Saunders, of Roanoke, died at his home, Friday, January
15, 1993. Absent from the body, present with the Lord, after a long illness of
Huntingtons Chorea. He was a maintenance supervisor for Webster Brick Company.
He was a member of the Glade Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Roy Gilbert and Elizabeth Booze. He is survived by his wife,
Wanda Tayloe Booze; two sons, Claiborne Dooley of Bedford, James Tims of
Marion, Mont.; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Elain) Ferguson of Akron, Ohio;
Mrs. Keena (Ann Marie Booze) Adams of Troutville; three stepdaughters, Mrs.
Charles (Cathy) Rogers, Roanoke, Ms. Mary Turman of Blue Ridge, Mrs. Troy
(Tamela) Lovell of DeSota, Mo.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy Garland
and Dorothy Booze of Arlington, Tenn., Herbert and Mary Booze of Vinton, C.
Dennis and Patricia Booze of Huddleston; one sister, Mrs. Imogene McClelland
of Franklin; 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, January
18, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Glade Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip
Ayers, the Rev. William Stovell, and the Rev. Tim Wright officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton
Chapel after noon on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the
Blue Ridge Rescue Squad, Blue Ridge, Va.
