OBIT FUNK, SALLIE MAE

FUNK, Sallie Mae, 84, of Rt. 3, Boones Mill, died Friday, January 15, 1993. Mrs. Funk was the widow of William Funk. Surviving are her stepsons, Frank Funk, Otis Funk and Glenwood N. Funk, all of Boones Mill, James C. Funk of Salem; her stepdaughters, Juanita Adams of Long Beach, N.C., Josephine Stevens and Bobbie Gross, both of Bedford County, Carmellia Funk of Venice, Calif.; her brother, Oscar Wray of Callaway; and her half brother, Daniel Joseph Wray of Bent Mountain. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel noon Monday, January 18, 1993, with the Rev. Frank Wimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
