OBIT KING, BLANCHE CONNER
KING, Blanche Conner, 98, of Check, passed away Saturday, January 16, 1993, at Skyline Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include one daughter, Carlene Nimmo, Check; three granddaughters, Gypsy Cook of Richmond, Bonnie Gay of Lexington, Phyllis Nimmo of Newport News; four grandsons and wives, Neil and Donna Nimmo, Dr. Tyrone and Judy Nimmo, Dale Nimmo, all of Newport News, John and Lois Layden of Colonial Heights, Va.; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Quensenberry officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Va.
