OBIT HOSTETTER, PAUL EDWARD

HOSTETTER, Paul Edward, 81, of 215 S. Holliday St., Strasburg, formerly of Lexington, Va., died Friday at the Winchester Medical Center. A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at the Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg with the Rev. Dan M. McCoig Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Strasburg. Mr. Hostetter was born July 25, 1911 in Lexington, the son of the late William Henry and Margaret Ellen Agnor Hostetter. He retired as a service station manager in Lexington in 1975. He was a member of the Lauderdale Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Surviving is a sister, Margaret Hostetter Morris of Strasburg whom he made his home with. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Goad, Robert L. Funk III, Harry L. Keller Jr., John E. Taylor, Robert T. Funkhouser and Charles Barrick Jr. The family will receive friends at the home of Kitty and Donald Miller, 203 Massanutten St., Strasburg and at the Stover Funeral Home at anytime. The family will meet at the Miller home Monday at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the RAM 300 Scholarship Fund, C/O Strasburg High School, Strasburg, Va. 22657 or to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 321, Woodstock, Va. 22664. Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg is handling arrangements.
