COUGARS HANDLE EAGLES
Eric Webb scored 25 points and Chris Foster added 21 as the Pulaski County Cougars dropped the GW-Danville Eagles 73-61 in a non-district boys' basketball game Saturday.Webb was 10-for-10 on free throws, making him 18-for-18 in the past two games.
The Cougars (9-3) trailed 14-3 in the first quarter but took the lead in the second, when Foster had 10 of his points, and they kept the lead the rest of the way. Foster also finished with 12 rebounds. Shadd Breakley led GW-Danville with 17. \

HILLSVILLE - Chris Reynolds scored 23 points as the Cougars slipped past the Cavaliers for a non-district win.
The teams stayed close through the first half and Patrick County led by three points at halftime. The difference in the game came in the third quarter when the Cougars outscored the Carroll County 15-8. The Cavaliers cut the lead the lead to four but couldn't get any closer.
Stephen Dalton scored 19 and John Wolford added 14 for the Cavs (4-9).

CAWOOD, Ky - Jerry Stackhouse scored 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as the Warriors romped over Cawood for a non-district win.
Alex Sanders scored 21 points, Jeff McInnis had 19 points and 15 assists, Vincent Luther had 15 points and Tavaras Johnson added 12 for Oak Hill (18-0).

Katrina King scored 16 points and Glossary Smith added 15 and the Eagles rolled over the Cougars for a non-district girls' victory. GW-Danville (11-2) outscored Pulaski County 16-6 in the first quarter. The Cougars battled back in the third quarter, closing to 27-23 but never could take the lead. Carrie McConnell led Pulaski County with 16 points. \

LYNCHBURG - Lori Reynolds scored 14 points and Shannon Conley added 12 as the Eagles flew past the Hilltoppers for a non-district win. The teams were even through the first quarter, but Franklin County took a big lead in the second quarter, outscoring E.C. Glass 20-12. The Hilltoppers rallied in the third quarter, but Franklin County (7-5) held on. \
