OBIT PAYNE, DONNA JEAN

PAYNE, Donna Jean, 56, of Roanoke, died Saturday, January 16, 1993, in a Salem hospital. She served many years in the nursing profession in the Roanoke area. Survivors include her husband, E. D. Payne, Roanoke; two daughters, Rebecca S. and Rachel L. Payne, both of the home; son, Jeffrey M. Hall; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Patricia) Schultz of Stockbridge, Ga.; and Mrs. Gilbert (Roberta) Nichols, Mrs. Gary (Sandra) Walter, both of Port Huron, Mich.; a brother, Rodney E. Wier of Flint, Mich. A funeral service will be conducted from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Frank Feather officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after noon on Monday.
