OBIT BROUGHMAN, EMMETT W.
BROUGHMAN, Emmett W., 73, of Buchanan, died Sunday, January 17, 1993. He was a veteran of World War II, a former prisoner of war, and a life member of DAV. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Broughman, Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Hill, Daleville; one daughter and son-in-law, Nyokia and Donald Jones, Martinez, Ga.; four sisters, Martha Dooley, Roanoke, Buelah Gibson, Vinton, Josephine Grey, Troutville, Charlotte Bishop, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Jeffrey and wife Lynne Hill, Julia Hill, and Jason Hill; one great-granddaughter, Kali Hill. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 11 a.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Harold E. Cook, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
