OBIT NUNN, BEATRICE MESSER

NUNN, Beatrice Messer, 82, of Greentree Lane, Galax, died Monday, January 18, 1993, in the Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Winton-Salem, N.C. She is survived by two sons, Roy Nunn, Knoxville, Tenn., John Nunn, Galax; daughter, Judith Nunn Alley, Niceville, Fla.; sister, Gertrude M. Cheek, Mt. Airy, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Ken Caraway. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Galax Foundation for Excellence in Education, P.O. Box 487, Galax, Va. 24333. Arrangements by the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
