NORTH CROSS HEAD TAKES POST IN PA.
David Dougherty, headmaster of North Cross School, will leave at the end of the school year for a headmaster's position in Pennsylvania.Dougherty, headmaster at North Cross since 1989, will move to The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa., an all-boys' boarding school with an enrollment of 450.
In a letter to staff, students and parents, Dougherty said he did not seek the position but was "flattered to be proposed for it and honored to be appointed." A nationally recognized consulting firm will help a North Cross search committee find a successor.
North Cross is a non-sectarian private school for grades K-12.
