MEETINGS TO DISCUSS NEW FARMERS' MARKET

The opening of the Southwest Virginia Farmers' Market near Hillsville gives farmers a new outlet for locally grown vegetables, fruit and other items.

The public is welcome at the following meetings:

Jan. 28, 7 p.m., in Bank of Floyd Community Room.

Feb 24, 7 p.m., at Ararat Ruritan Building in Patrick County.
