OBIT HELMINTOLLER, M.

HELMINTOLLER, Mary Lucile, 87, of Roanoke, died Monday, January 18, 1993. She was a resident of the United Methodist Home in Roanoke, a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and associate member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Bedford. She was the widow of the Rev. Peter C. Helmintoller Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia H. O'Donohue of Irvine, Calif.; one son, Robert E. Helmintoller of Nuernberg, Germany; one granddaughter, Diane O'Donohue of San Diego, Calif.; one sister-in-law and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Carmi Neff of Covington; one brother-in-law and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Helmintoller of Hot Springs; two sisters-in-law, Georgia Powell of Clifton Forge, Bessie Stoneburner of St. Louis, Mo.; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the Fairview United Methodist Church of Roanoke, 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 20 with the Rev. Robert M. Chapman and the Rev. Dr. T. Eugene Carter officiating. Burial will be in Warrenton, Va. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church in Roanoke or to Main Street United Methodist Church in Bedford, Va. The body will lie in state at the church 1 p.m. Wednesday until the hour of service.
