VIENNA WOMAN REPORTS ASSAULT

A Vienna, Va., woman visiting in a home in the 2500 block of Hanover Avenue Northwest told police she was assaulted Tuesday by another woman whose name she did not know.

Johnetta J. Naylor, 42, said she was struck near her left eye several times with a slapjack, a metal-edged, leather-covered club. Her assailant then bit her on the lip and fled, she told police.

Naylor was treated at Community Hospital. Police are seeking the identity of the assailant.
