OBIT DUNCAN, DOROTHY FRANCES QUARLES

DUNCAN, Dorothy Frances Quarles, 45, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 1993. She suffered for many years with diabetes. Surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Samuel H. Sr. and Brenda Quarles, Vinton, Larry E. Sr. and Peggy Quarles, Roanoke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary P. Boothe, Roanoke, Ellen L. and Mike Wright, Elliston, Margaret D. and Terry Patterson, Roanoke; her mother, Donna Frances Bradley Quarles Arnold; stepfather, Alexander Arnold; goddaughter, Barbara G. Quarles; stepbrothers, Frank Arnold, Vinton, Etsel Arnold, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday, January 23, 1993 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Everett Kier will officiate. Burial to follow in Jeters Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
