CARTER, Bobby Carlton, 43, of Route 2, Ferrum, died Thursday morning, January 21, 1993. He was born in Franklin County, February 8, 1949, and was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Carlton Carter. Surviving are his wife, Jamie Young Carter; one daughter, Stephanie Carter and one son, Adrian Carter, both of Ferrum; two sisters, Marie Crouch of Rocky Mount and Jane Wolford of Vinton; two brothers, Randy Carter of Radford and Buddy Carter of Albany, N.Y. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 1993 at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bud Nichols with interment to follow in the Carter Family Cemetery. Visitation may begin Friday after 5 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
