WKEX OFFERS TRIBUTE TO BASKETBALL CHAMPS

WKEX radio and University Mall will honor the Blacksburg High School girl's state AA basketball championship team Saturday in the mall from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The live remote broadcast will feature interviews with players and coaches, as well as congratulations from passersby.

People can register for free prizes or enter a shoot-off between the public and the players. The WKEX Wacky Bird will be have free candy for the children.

The girl's team finished the season with a perfect record.
