OBIT DILLON, JESSIE J.
DILLON, Jessie J., 89, of Pell Ave., Rocky Mt., died Friday, January 22, 1993 in Eldercare Nursing Home. Mr. Dillon was a member of the Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren; and was retired from the J. P. Stevens Co. Surviving are his wife, Eula M. Dillon; three daughters and one son-in-law, Mary and William Craddock, Salem, Sharon Law, Rocky Mt., and Rebecca Davidson, also of Salem; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James H. Dillon, Roanoke, Kerry A. and Marilyn Dillon, Boones Mill; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Sallie Hodges, Roanoke; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 1993 at the Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren, by the Rev. Fred A. Driver. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
