YOUNG, Herman Rudolph, of Rocky Mount, died Thursday, January 21, 1993. He was one of 13 children born to the late Samuel Davy and Dora Gilbert Young. Survivors include his wife, Lucy W. Young; one daughter and son-in-law, Regina Y. and S. Jerome Johnson, Rocky Mount; one son and daughter-in-law, Reginald K. and Sharon L. Young, Christiansburg; one grandson, Sheldon J. Johnson Jr., Rocky Mount; one stepgranddaughter, Latacha Lee, Christiansburg; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Lillie Y. and A. J. Reeves, Nadine Y. Hawkins, all of Rocky Mount; and V. Ruth Young, Bronx, N.Y.; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Robert T. and Susie Young, Samuel D. and Jean M. Young, all of Rocky Mount; G. Lincoln Young, Albany, N.Y., J. Perry Young, Upper Marlboro, Md., Gilbert Young, Richmond, Va., Fred and Dorreth W. Young, Anchorage, Alaska. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 1993 at the Holy Trinity Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, Va. The officiating clergyman will be the Rev. David Wade. The family hour for friends will be Sat. January 23, 7 to 8 p.m. at Stanfield Mortuary Chapel, Rocky Mount, Va.
