FARMER, Ola M., 67, of Christiansburg, passed away Friday, January 22, 1993 in the Montgomery Regional Hospital after a long illness. Surviving are her husband, Robert Z. (Zack) Farmer; five daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Ernest McGuire, Karen and Gene Dickerson, Lisa and Mike Kirkner, all of Christiansburg, Brenda and Danny Peters, Bedford, Janice and Alex Bermand, New Haven, Conn.; also five brothers and two sisters; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 24, 1993 at 1:30 p.m. from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., c/o ALS Professional Park One, 4502 Starkey Road, S.W., Roanoke, Va. 24014, or to the Christiansburg Life Saving Crew, PO Box 176, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
