OBIT LUNDY, EMMALINE VIRGINIA

LUNDY, Emmaline Virginia, 89, of Galax, passed away Thursday, January 21, 1993 in Twin County Community Hospital. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Lundy Eanes, Lynchburg; grandchildren, Leigh Lundy, Dru Lundy, Joseph Lundy Jr.; one brother, Dan Anderson, Galax. Funeral services will be held at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mrs. Gladys Rhodes, Independence Highway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Galax Fire Department Fireman's Auxiliary or the charity of your choice.
