BRANT-MANNING

Diana Katherine Brant and William David Manning are engaged and planning to be married August 7, 1993. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hester Brant, of Marion, Virginia. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Hampden Aulick Burke, of Tappahannock, Va., and the late Mr. Harold Lewis Brant, of Bristol, Va., and the late Mrs. Joseph Lewis Blalock, Marion, Va. She graduated from Marion Senior High School in 1986 in Marion, Va., and, in 1990, from Mary Baldwin College located in Staunton, Va. She is employed by Stuart Hall School in Staunton, Va., as Associate Dean of Admissions. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Franklin Manning, of Pine Mountain, Georgia. His grandparents are Mrs. Simeon Newton Manning and the late Mr. Simeon Newton Manning, of Alpharetta, Ga.; and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Haddock Sheffield, of Colquitt, Ga. He graduated from Flint River Academy in 1987 in Woodbury, Georgia, and, in 1991, from Virginia Military Institute located in Lexington, Va. He is employed by Babcock and Wilcox Nuclear Technologies in Lynchburg, Va., as Field Engineer.
