PARKER-COOPER

Julie Cooper and Gregg Parker were united in marriage on January 23, 1993 in Snow Creek Christian Church. Mr. Berlin Hanks, Pastor, was the officiatingclergyman. The reception was held at The Patrick Henry Hotel.

Amy Cooper, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Rhonda Lefever, Andrea Torode and Laurie Young. Marvin Parker served as his son's best man. The ushers were Mark Hylton, Lynn Smith and Steve Alley.

The bride's gown was white bridalsatin with accents of lace. She carried a bouquet of white and bridal pink roses and ivy.

Julie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira S. Cooper of Snow Creek, Va. She is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Radford University, and is employed by Lewis-Gale Hospital. Gregg is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin D. Parker of Elliston, Va. He is a graduate ofShawsville High School and is employed by G & H Contracting, Inc.

The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after the wedding trip to the Homestead.
