RADFORD ANNIVERSARY

Burton and Aberdeene Radford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 24, 1993. The celebration was held at Calvary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and was hosted by their four children. The couple was married January 25, 1943, in Roanoke County. Mrs. Radford is the former Aberdeen Nichols. Their children are Fran Winstead of Roanoke; Bobby Radford, Sandra Gilbert, and Wayne Radford of Salem. They have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Radford is a retired plumbing contractor.
