PLYBON, Osa Cheek, 93, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, January 23, 1993.
She is survived by a son, Robert L. Plybon Jr. of Roanoke; three daughters and
sons-in-law, Mary and Joe Holt of Thaxton, Doris and Harold Shelor of Salem,
Sarah and Clyde Johnson of Richmond; one sister and brother-in-law, Frances
and Robert A. Dyer Sr. of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Sherran Brumfield,
Michael Shelor, David Shelor, Deborah Ashley and Donna Treacy. Also surviving
are twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral
services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 25, 1993, at the John M. Oakey &
Son Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with Dr. Harry Gamble and Dr. M. Dennis
Herman officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The
family will receive friends from 2 until 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
