OBIT WOODFORD, PEARL BLANKENSHIP

WOODFORD, Pearl Blankenship, 89, of Roanoke, died Friday, January 22, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Albert Woodford; and a son, Calvin L. Woodford. She is survived by a stepson and daughter-in-law, Kenneth R. and Linda J. Woodford, Knoxville, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Helen W. Shelor, Roanoke; stepdaughter-in-law, Estelle D. Woodford, Vinton; two sisters, Lola B. Ferguson, Roanoke, Lucille B. Ennis, Hampton; ten stepgrandchildren; eighteen stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted noon Monday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel with Rev. R. C. Wilson officiating with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
