OBIT POFF, ROY ALVIN

POFF, Roy Alvin, 81, of Richmond and formerly of Floyd, died in a Richmond hospital Saturday, January 23, 1993. Surviving are one son, Wayne Poff of Bassett; one grandson, Barry Poff of Pilot, Va.; and two sisters, Marjory Nichols of Pilot, Jean Alley of Salem. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Wood Funeral Home with the Rev. Elbert L. Naff officiating. Burial will follow in Huffville Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd.
