OBIT POWELL, JANE BLEVINS

POWELL, Jane Blevins, 40, of South Bend, Ind., died Saturday, January 23, 1993, in St. Joe's Hospital in South Bend. She is survived by her parents, William and Lucille Blevins, one sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Roger Janney, and one niece, Kimberly Nicole Janney, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, at 2 p.m. in Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Shirley Reamer officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Chilhowie. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 9 at Seaver-Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Santa's Elves Program, C/O Smyth County Social Services, P.O. Box 1023, Marion, Va. 24354, Attn. Barbara F. Weaver. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
