BEACH TICKET WINS $5.8 MILLION LOTTO

There was one winning ticket in Saturday's $5.8 million Lotto drawing, the Virginia Lottery said.

The numbers were two, four, seven, nine, 26 and 33.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Super Fresh in Virginia Beach. The winner will get about $197,000 a year after taxes for 20 years.

Lottery spokeswoman Paula Otto said 144 tickets matched five of six numbers to win $684; 6,413 matched four for $32 and 85,101 tickets matched three for a free play.

Wednesday's jackpot drops back to an estimated $1 million.
