OBIT CARNER, BEATRICE N.

CARNER, Beatrice N., 80, of Roanoke, died Saturday, January 23, 1993. She was the widow of the late John W. Carner. Mrs. Carner is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Nathan McCray, and a son, David B. Carner, all of Salem; one brother, Frank L. Gillespie, Roanoke; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 1993, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Samuel E. Hancock Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
