OBIT MINNIX, HERMAN FOSTER SR.

MINNIX, Herman Foster Sr., 62, of Route 2, Hardy, passed away Saturday, January 23, 1993. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Doris Robertson Minnix; four sons, Carl R. Minnix, Hardy, Billy R. Minnix, Bedford, Bobby D. Minnix, Hardy, Herman F. Minnix Jr., Rocky Mount; two daughters, Lou Ann Minnix of the home, Faye G. Pruitt, Moneta; four sisters, Joyce M. Pruitt, Lois M. Gantt, Alice M. Pruitt, Nancy M. Nelson, all of Hardy; also five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 1993 from the Franklin Memorial Park in Boones Mill. The Rev. Marvin W. Lloyd will officiate. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
