VARIETY SHOW TO HELP LOCAL CANCER VICTIM

Area performers will take part in a variety show Sunday to raise money to benefit a victim of lymphatic cancer.

Admission to the show, at George Wythe High School from 2 to 6 p.m., is free but donations will be taken at the door. Proceeds will go to Jerry Lowe of Max Meadows.

The show is sponsored by the Wytheville Ladies Ruritan Club and will include Dr. J's Easy Listening, Nancy Ward, Stars of Hope, Wings of Faith, Pam Sage, Leslie Stroupe, and the Shanaki Karate Demonstration Team. - Southwest bureau
